5 + 1 advice is to put a glass foil on your phone

Ever since we have been using PDAs and phones with touch-sensitive surfaces, we have been expected to protect the display from scratches. In the old days, when we still used pressure-sensitive displays, the goal was not to wear out the display with the hard plastic stylus. . However, a few years ago, "foils" made of tempered glass began to spread, which can protect the display glass not only from scratches, but also from breakage. This is achieved by the fact that the film glued to the glass of the phone diverts and distributes the concentrated force of possible impacts over the entire display, thus dampening the physical impact.

Yes, but the glass foil has to be done somehow on the phone, but so that it looks good, there is no dirt or bubble beneath it. If you are bored of having to go to the mall every time you swap, read our tips and hope that you will soon change the foil at home.

1. Moss your hands and see what clothes you have on them!

Prior to attaching the glass foil, it is most important to defrost your hands, but it does not hurt to pull a thin rubber gloves straight. We will note that it will be easier without glove, so you should rather shake hands with your fingers at the end. Do not have any clothing that can electrostatically charge you, attracting all kinds of cartilage. Add a T-shirt, nothing else will be needed.

2. Where to change the foil?

They used to say they were the best place to have the bathroom, where you packed the air with the shower. If you have the right cupboard or table on which you can work, this will be the best place to stay in the damp air. If that does not work, there will be a well-lit table in the room, preferably in a more degraded environment.

3. First task before attaching the foil

If you bought a normal quality film from a normal manufacturer, you've got two pouches and one sticker. First, deflate the glass with a damp cloth. Look closely at the rims that are used to stay, and if the foil does not stick to the edge, it will quickly burst on the edges. After wet wiping, wipe the bottle dry, and then use the enclosed sticker to remove any remaining carts on the display.

4. The film can come!

At the traditional foil bowl, the thread was that the protective surface was removed from the adhesive side of the foil for one third, then the end of the foil was glued to the glass, and the foil was gently slammed onto the glass by slowly pulling the protective surface. Forget this solution here!

The glass foil is rigid. If you have cleaned the display, remove the protective layer completely from the sticky part of the foil. Do not press the foil gently at the rim, do not push your fingertips on the sticky part and otherwise do not touch the sticky part. Take the foil over the glass of the phone, make sure there is no dirt under the glass. Place the film as close to the glass as possible, watch the cutouts in place (for example, cameras). Press the center of the film gently to the glass, release the edge. The film goes up to the phone's glass.

5. bubbles

If the foil is up and there are bubbles left, do not worry. Grab a credit card, wrap it in a layer with some fine nonwoven cloth and massage the bubbles to the edges. You're done

5 + 1 How to remove the foil

If there's dirt left beneath the foil, it'll be hard for you to work. Try to reach one of the corners beneath the foil, but if you can use some kind of plastic tool, say a guitar player or the like. Gently lift the corner of the foil, but be careful not to scratch it. Slide a bank card and carefully remove it from the glass.

If the foil is broken and should be replaced, obtain a wide tape and seal the broken foil. If you do this, it will not be full of all your little shots with bouncing glasses when you remove it.

Congratulations, you have become a professional wraper!
