Demonstration and test of 35 fans
Details of our test participants
England
For the domestic brand, we could start the presentation, as this package is one of the reasons why our test is born. As we showed in an earlier article, the development of Englide fans is due to the sons of our country, and as we have heard, there is quite a lively interest in the products abroad as well. Because of this, we then curiously waited for his place in the crowded field.
The brand is represented by three members. Two of these are 12 and one is 8 centimeters. The two 12s, of course, are not the same, one is made of traditional black and the other is made of translucent, smoky plastic called n.zero. According to the distributor / developer, the primary goal of the development was quiet operation, so we do not find any outstanding features in the performance data of the fans. What you should know about them is that they have been provided with a plain bearing motor, so we can now directly compare it with other products with similar characteristics.
We turned them on and we have to say huhhhh. These fans really went quietly. Although they are not fluid bearings, they are almost no bearing noise. We don't hear the usual rumble, the noise from the engine is almost completely suppressed by the wind noise, which is also interesting because these are especially slow-turning pieces, so the wind noise is not significant either.
The fact that the 12-centimeter pieces are quieter, or even quieter in the case of the n.zero, is no wonder, as the 12-centimeter vents are capable of adequate air delivery at lower revs due to the larger blade size. What’s really remarkable, though, is the 8-centimeter fan, which is almost silent despite the higher revs. We don’t know how they managed to design them so quietly for their sliding bearing existence, but down with the hat!
Coolink
He came to our Coolink editorial office with one of the most populous teams. They are represented by no less than nine types of aerators, of which four are twelve, two are nine, and three are eight centimeters.
A common feature of the fans is that they are all ball bearing designs. As for the data on the boxes, we found it interesting, and that is the low noise level of the eight-centimeter pieces. The slowest piece, featuring 1000 rpm, is rated 9 dBA by the manufacturer, which rubs off its incredible limit, so we’re curious to see what it produces after power-up.
We started listening with the eight-inch pieces, and we have to say it’s good. You may hear that the gem (s) are balloon (s), but in this case it is not confusing. The motor runs smoothly, does not vibrate, does not resonate, and the sound is even so it is not disturbing. It doesn’t sound too high or too deep, so you definitely like it. There is only a speed difference between the three eight-centimeter pieces, so we can only expect an increase in wind noise in terms of noise. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the blades are translucent blue, which is showy, and it is not incidental that since it is a ball-bearing solution, the service life is also expected to be longer than that of the plain-bearing design.
After the above, the nine-centimeter fans were a serious disappointment. The wind noise was less, but it was greatly dampened by the hurtful sound coming from the engine and the berezonation we experienced with it. Twenty inches of this vent is said to have a ball bearing in it. Sorry, but let's see what 12 centimeters know!
Larger pieces at low turns are thankfully more similar to eights in terms of noise, but unfortunately they don’t produce the quality of little brothers either. Not bad, not bad, but in addition to the little ones, they can also hide. We have to describe that at least there is no vibration associated with a quiet rumble, and that is positive, as at least the house will not make noise from it. Higher-turn pieces, on the other hand, represent a different world. The Model 1202, which spins at 1600 per minute, is something quite amazing. Unfortunately, not because it is quiet, but because it is loud. We've heard this clapping from a fan a long time ago. The sound of this is not that disturbing from one, but from five meters. Uncritical piece.
Let's summarize! The assessment is in half. The eight-inch ones belong to the absolutely recommended category. If we don't ask before the latter that it is possible to produce a fish like the eights, then we would also put this in the specially recommended category, but that way the position of the girl has become a little different. On the other hand, we cannot recommend the higher speed pieces for home use at all. But they can certainly scare off starlings effectively.
