Prices for each version of Windows 7

The German Windows Secrets described the (assumed) prices for each version of Windows 7.

Windows 7, the successor to Windows Vista, will certainly go on sale before the end of this year. Like its predecessor, Microsoft makes several variants of this operating system, so that all customers, whether individual or business, can find the version that best suits their needs and budget. Between Starter Edition, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions differences by implication, the base package, known as the Starter Edition, is expected to have a suggested retail price of $ 199,95 on software store shelves, and all sorts of overcrowded terrestrial Ultimate versions will be available for $ 319,95. Of the intermediate versions, Home Premium is available for $ 259,95 and Professional for $ 299,95, but prices for Home Basic and Enterprise editions were not disclosed in Windows Secrets. These amounts are not, of course, the property of the so-called upgrade versions, they are to be understood as completely independent, boxed versions.
