Demonstration and test of 35 fans

Details of our test participants

We are only announcing a test winner from one manufacturer, but we are shading the picture. For those looking for the quietest vent with normal air delivery, we recommend the 800-revolution 12-centimeter S-Flex. Brilliant bearing, good balancing and long life expectancy. The only slightly sore point is the price. This vent must be paid for, the quality costs money!

We really liked the Scythe Gentle Typhoon. Ball bearing, long service life, real precision instrument. At low turns it works silently, at higher turns you can already hear the noise of the bullets. However, for those who are looking for an air blower for continuous operation, we highly recommend it!

Then there are the Coolink fans. We could also find these pieces on the shelves for a while called Noise Blocker, we loved them. Although they are no longer the best, we cannot call them bad either. Balancing was a bit problematic for some pieces, but that may not be true for all pieces. We could only test the incoming vents.

The Chieftec vents performed surprisingly well. They were not among the best in terms of noise, but their air transport values were above the factory data in our own measurements. If the factory is already wrong, make it wrong! The Noctua is quiet, but as we’ve already written, there’s something wrong with airlift. It's a waste! For the most expensive 12-centimeter fan, we obtained good air delivery rates, and due to the interesting blade profile, the wind noise was also less annoying. The balancing was no longer perfect, but the Noctua comes with silicone bucks, so the resulting vibration is guaranteed not to spread across the house.

COLINK is still a representative of the runners category. Low price, but at the same time usable performance in terms of both noise and air delivery. It’s by no means the top category, but we didn’t expect that from him either.

Last but not least, Englide, which is a domestic product - made in a Chinese factory - is particularly good. Correct manufacturer data, pleasant performance, competitive price. We need this!

Let's see the winner of the test and the justification!

The award in this article is not given to a particular type, but to a manufacturer, thus evaluating the overall performance of its products. Since we are only announcing one winner, we had to think carefully about which manufacturer to choose. We justify it too!

The winner of the crowded fan test with us was Englide!

or
England

Let's see the reasons! As we wrote above, it wasn’t the quietest fan, but it competed with Scythe pieces, almost producing fluid-bearing quality. We don’t know how we managed to get such a smooth sound out of a plain bearing, but down with the hat! In terms of price, it stays well below the S-Flex, but it approaches the Noctua, which is fluid-bearing and comes with many accessories.

However, in the case of Noctua, we did not like the air transport data, again highlighting the difference between the factory and measured values. So we have to say that in terms of noise / air transport / price, Englide clearly gave the most. To this we can add the correct factory data, which show that they do not want to lead us. Englide convinced us!
