Toshiba recalls 142 adapters

In Toshiba’s forced action, 142 portable DVD player adapters are forced to be replaced.

Toshiba, in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, announced last week that 142 adapters packaged with the SD-P2005 portable DVD player, which sold between January 2006 and April 1600, need to be replaced. The recall is due to a fault in the power supply unit and the resulting risk of fire. Toshiba is not aware of any personal injury.
