Yes, yes and for the third time yes! Today our old dream came true, we said goodbye to HardwareOC.hu to welcome the new HOC.hu.
As I have already written about it, I managed to correct an old bad decision, that is, instead of the long, unforgettable and unspeakable HardwareOC domain, we could take possession of the name HOC.hu. This also means that the official name of our site will change, so from now on we will call the site ad hoc!
I know many visitors aren’t particularly interested in this change, but I hope the following sentences will get more attention.
After the introduction of the new name, we also planned an advertising campaign, but after a lot of thinking, we decided why we should pay for advertising to strangers when we can also give the money to spend to our loyal readers. The idea was followed and we developed a simple affiliate program on our site.
The affiliate program is a relatively simple thing. All our registered visitors can participate in the program. The goal is to increase traffic to the site. This can be done by the registered visitor entering the page and opening the settings page at the header. Everyone will find a link on this page. The number at the end of the line in the link will be the ID of our visitor. If you place this link on the net and a visitor comes to our site by clicking on the link, our registered visitor with that number will receive a point.
Perhaps it will come as no surprise that these points need to be collected. The competition is reset at the end of each month, and our visitor who scores the most points in that month receives a gift.
Now, in the first month, the winner can take home an Intel Core2 Duo 6850 processor! The prize will change every month, but we promise it will never get worse!
