Once again, we have a HOC - plans and hopes for 2018

Read this, because if not, I have written it completely unnecessarily. If you read it may come a modest 10-minute applause and a three-time hurray shout!

Once again, we have a HOC - plans and hopes for 2018

We have some readers who have been following the life of the site for many years, and we have a lot of readers who still don’t know what they’re looking for here. Now, I'll start by helping the latter a little. Feel free to skip this part for the rest of you!

So, you need to know about HOC.hu that it is a site that has been operating since the end of 2001. Many years have passed since its launch, many faces have turned up here as editors, and if one gets a little immersed in the content of the page, one can notice that there are tens of thousands of news and nearly a thousand articles hiding in the database. Unlike today, this content is mostly peculiar, computerized, specifically hardware content, which is why it has been the profile of the site for more than 10 years. Then came a few-year pause to pick up the dropped yarn again this year (2017), write a lyrical article, and cut back into writing. Please read this before proceeding: There was once a HOC

Once again, we have a HOC - plans and hopes for 2018 1

So the story in the previous writing that dealt with the page ended there, I hope. Now the question may arise as to how much hopes have come in. Well, we are doing quite well in terms of number of visitors, because from 300-500 unique visitors a month at the beginning of the year, there were 150 thousand unique visitors by November. There’s a not-so-small scam in the matter, as this number of visitors refers to this site and all the blogs we’ve edited, but the point is still that sacc / approx in the last month. 150 people have read one or even more of our writings, and it is appropriate to be satisfied with this.

So the plans seem to come in, but the breakthrough is nowhere to be found, at least we didn’t break through the way I originally planned. Because of this, I had to forge some plans for next year. In short, this plan consists of tidying up the current somewhat picked-up look of the HOC and trying to lure as many visitors as possible from the blogs to this site, which is ultimately the origin of the current family of pages.

How do I want to achieve this?

  1. I would like to introduce bloggers to this site and the services available on the site. such as ours, I think perhaps the first in the world to appear GearBest coupon list, which I do not exaggerate, you can get perhaps the best prices on the net for a stack of gadgets and phone. What’s more, you’ll find not only coupon codes here, but photos and links, so it’s enough to take a brief look at the list once a day and you’ll see if there are any widgets that interest you.
  2. There are currently 3 blogs in addition to HOC, the topic of which, if not strongly, is different. Here, on the HOC pages, you can find blog news and articles in one interface, so it’s enough to visit one page and you’ll get all the writing - yes, there’s a separate Xiaomi coupon list, you’ll find it in the menu above!
  3. Various test items that I don't want to keep are starting to accumulate on my shelf. Sometime in January, here on HOC and on the HOC Facebook page, we will distribute these among you blog readers and HOC readers in the framework of a great "bring a lot of people" game. Just so you know what to expect, there will be a phone that is more interesting than expensive, there will be a dash camera, a Xiaomi mouse and headphones, and I don't even know what else. So there will be some "laughs".

What other plans do I have? For example, I will fill the currently dead Youtube channel with fresh videos. Unfortunately, due to a small accident - one of my vines handed the key - a lot of things were lost from my machine, such as the generated introductory and closing video, the raw version of the broadcasts made so far, logos, pictures and specifically everything I needed to make a video. A lot of others, too, but it just hurts me. So for now, I didn’t have the time or energy to splurge on these, which is why the Youtube channel is a bit left alone, but I promise there will be a sequel. I’ll try to be a little more interactive, maybe I’ll replace the studio background - it’s also lost - with something more alive, but I’m still thinking about that. I can promise I won’t go down to the dog, I won’t push my pants down to have a lot of spectators.

etc

Then I even have a secret plan to draw the attention of some of my old acquaintances to the fact that my article may not reach 300 people, but 15-20 thousand, so maybe, I might say, they will see so much fantasy in us again that we get a drop of support in some material form. Of course it could come in intangible form as well, I’d be happy if someone would throw in some bitcoin, but I see little chance of that.

So the point is that I have the funds for further growth, I just have to work a damn lot. Since the beginning of this summer, my normal working hours are 14-16 hours a day, this should still last for about a year. If that goes, this page can come to life again, albeit in a slightly different form, with different themes than we started with anno, but the world is just like that, we’re not blowing the passage, we’re just trying to turn the sail in the right direction.

After all, this site is still just a hobby, that’s why we’re independent, and the content will be as loose as you might expect from a site reserved for a hobby. I’m not saying we don’t want some supported content, but, as they say, what’s late is coming!

I think that's it. You, dear HOC visitors who have been here for a long time, I hope you will not give up your good habits, and you, dear blog readers who have strayed from one of the blogs we have edited, I hope you stay here. That is, overall, I hope that in 2018, all our dear and disliked visitors will have a good time on the site, we will be there to provide you with a lot of colorful and interesting content!

Look back frequently, between holidays pretty gradually the changes come to the site to make an informative and age-appropriate page the end result.

Until the above happens, we wish everyone a productive and successful new year!
