Introductory

Exceptionally, we do not come up with a product recommendation, as the hardware that you can read about now is still in the process of being released, or there are some that only exist at the level of gossip. Nevertheless, we thought it worthwhile to summarize this information in a longer writing so that we know what products we can expect for the Christmas season!

Xiaomi Hey Plus smart bracelet

Just a few weeks ago, Xiaomi Mi Band 3, the successor to the world’s most popular smart bracelet, was released. We could read a lot of nice and good things about it, we already know that it could be improved on the perfect Xiaomi Mi Band 2 as well. Now, however, it turns out that some of the news didn’t even get into the bracelet, so Xiaomi could also release an improved release of the improved release. This became the Xiaomi Hey Plus smart bracelet.

The new hardware, of course, got all the good from Mi Band 3, we've already written about these, so now we're just talking about the more significant novelty. One such novelty is the support for NFC technology, which is said to support many services operating in China, so for example it can be used on local bus routes or even for security access systems with smart door locks. That’s good news, it’s not true for us, because birds are chirping that NFC isn’t going to be good for anything with us.

Xiaomi Hey Plus 2

The good news, however, is that the bracelet will also be able to be incorporated into the Xiaomi smart home application, so we can control the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem devices through it, be it Wi-Fi or Zigbee devices.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S jade version

The Xiaomi Mi MIX and MIX 2 are still the most beautiful phone in the world for me. Sleek shape - without notch - with ceramic back or even fully ceramic housing, a real premium feeling to use. I don’t even plan to get rid of my beloved MIX 2 phone, although since I use it I’ve turned my hand on some interesting handsets. Xiaomi has now further carved the already beautiful device and a jade version will be released soon.

What you need to know about this new device is that it does not differ from the original MIX 2 S in terms of hardware, only the color of the ceramics and the garnish have changed. We could touch on that, as color alone doesn’t mean much, but it’s good to know that a lot of Xiaomi’s work lies in making and using the world’s first colored pottery for his phone house. The pigments used for ceramics are obtained from the grinding of malachite. The green color of this copper-containing mineral, one of the carbon minerals, gives the ceramic a wonderful hue.

The new phone also gets a unique packaging, its box carries the classic "flying" murals of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes. This motif is also carried by the factory-installed desktop background, which, like the box, is completely black. The premium feeling is strengthened by the fact that the new MIX 2S has 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage, and of course it also supports wireless charging.

Xiaomi Mi MAX 3 - improved version

Xiaomi Mi Max 3

Just a few years ago, a seven-inch device was still called a tablet, but it’s already called a phone. At least at Xiaomi, where the MAX name isn’t a joke on the phone, as it’s really huge. You could say a real baker's shovel is mobile. We have already written a more detailed review of the phone, in which we have already reported on essentially all the elements of the hardware, so again we will focus only on the novelty. And that’s just that the first version will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, and an improved version will already get 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage. Other things remain the same, leaving the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 central chip, the Full HD + 6,9-inch display and the 17,6-centimeter-long and 8,74-centimeter-wide housing.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus

They say the tablets slowly fill up, but it doesn’t seem to bother Xiaomit in the slightest. Of course, it could also be that they know something we don’t, which is why they think it’s worth investing more energy in development. After Xiaomi Mi Pad 3, the offspring arrived a long time ago, which we also reported on in a detailed article. However, according to current information, Xiaomi is not content to be present in the market with this tablet, we will soon be able to welcome another one on store shelves.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4

The new tablet will be the same as the ones currently available in terms of more essential hardware, with a significant difference in screen size. While the Mi Pad 4 is an 8-inch, the Plus version will get a 10-inch display. According to the leaked information, it will be available in two colors, black and gold, and these will include 4 or 64 GB of storage with 128 GB of RAM. For now, it is questionable what will happen to the battery, as a larger display will require more power, and a larger battery can fit in a larger housing. that is, we may get a larger one instead of the 6000 mAh battery in the eight-inch version.

Closing Remarks

You can see that at Xiaomi they don’t really sit on laurels, they constantly pour the novelties around our necks. Plus, they’re going to be really interesting hardware, ones that could make them stars in the Christmas market.
