Philips has introduced a wireless sound system

The Streamium NP2900 can also be used to play audio stored on our computer, among other things.

The main virtue of the device is that it allows you to enjoy the music stored on your computer in any part of your home, which requires only a properly configured wireless network in addition to the device. With this, nothing can stand in the way of music enjoyment, as Streamium can handle both PCs and Macs, and moreover, it can receive broadcast media from any network source as long as the source complies with the UPnP standard. The range of playable formats is plentiful, as in addition to the classic MP3 format, WMA, AAC, Ogg Vorbis and FLAC files will not play on the device. The device is also suitable for receiving Internet radio broadcasts, which can be performed independently of the computer.

The biggest question is, of course, the sound quality this time as well, but considering Philips' activity so far, this probably won't be a problem either. All the more so, since the 30-watt device has been equipped with advanced solutions by the manufacturer's engineers, such as the "FullSound" technology responsible for the lifelike sounding of compressed audio files, or the "Living Sound" process for expanding stereo sound in a larger physical space. The digital signal processing processor (under its maiden name DSP) and the four loudspeakers are organically linked to the latter; two of the latter are located on both sides of the device, thus physically helping the even dispersion of sound waves.
