Creative ZEN Stone: Fight the iPod Shuffle
Creative’s latest music player could pose serious competition for Apple primarily because of its price.
Available in black, blue, green, pink, red and white, the Creative ZEN Stone has one gigabyte of flash memory to store up to 250 songs, while the battery allows for 10 hours of continuous music listening, compared to iPod Shuffle’s 12 hours of playback time.
The MP14 player, which will be available from May 3, will cost just $ 39,99, or about $ 7000, while its main rival, the iPod Shuffle, is much more expensive at $ 79,99.
