ASUS has sprinkled new crumbs of information about the Xonar sound card unveiled at CeBIT, which is immediately in the spotlight.

We need to start with a minor adjustment, because as it turned out, the sound generator chip is not supplied to ASUS Xonar by Analog Devices Inc. but by C-Media Electronics. THE previously described however, the technical data were correct, so we cannot provide any novelty in this regard.

C-Media generates $ 10-20 in revenue for each chip shipped to ASUS, according to VR-Zone information, and if we estimate that ASUS plans to produce about 500 Xonars this year, we can quickly calculate that this partnership is a very serious source of revenue for C-Media.
