Sometime a week and a half ago, we wrote that a rumor had it that Xiaomi’s new phone could get a 19: 8 aspect ratio display and the design would be frameless. Well, the rumor seems to be coming true. According to current information, we will not find a home button on the front of the phone. In appearance, it is very similar to the Xiaomi Note 5 shown this week. On the pages, you will find a substantial, or rather, visible, frame at the bottom and top of a substantially frameless phone. What is very interesting is that, based on the picture, there are speakers on the bottom and top of the phone, and on the back there is a grid on both sides.

It looks like the display will be 5,7 inches and the resolution will be HD, i.e. 720 x 1440 pixels. The central unit can be the Snapdragon 450 SoC, and the cameras on the back are 13 megapixels.

The expected announcement date is October 16 or 17. Of the Xiaomi new phones, the Note 5A has already been unveiled, followed by the Redmi 5 Plus, which has just been discussed, and the Xiaomi Note 5 will be unveiled later this year. We must wait until February 7 for the debut of the new flagship Redmi Mi 2018.
