Which is the best Chinese phone for gaming?
Several people have asked me the question in recent weeks, so I chose what I think is best now.
The latest Android phones can be used for a wide variety of purposes. You can make calls or send text messages over a traditional mobile network or the Internet, browse the web, watch movies, listen to music or the radio, and of course play on them. Thanks to the latest technological advancements, these Android phones are also capable of handling games that we played on consoles a few years ago. The problem, however, is that in order for your phone to run the latest games smoothly, you usually have to have very expensive hardware.
The latest smartphones from reputable manufacturers that are great for gaming, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 Plus are unfortunately not a bit cheap, which is why a lot of people won’t get to know the fun experience they provide. Fortunately, there are many cheap alternative mobiles available today. Despite their affordable price, these cheap Android phones come with excellent hardware to run the latest games and movies at enjoyable speeds.
Since this topic has been raised several times in recent weeks, I have decided to look around the offer and look for a phone that is still affordable in price, but does not force us to compromise. This phone, my choice in mid-October 2017 is the Elephone S8. I will not remain indebted for the reasons, you can read in the following paragraphs why I chose it.
The Elephant S8 uses the latest MediaTek Helio X25 chipset. This central unit received ten processor cores, which were arranged in three groups, clustered into the proci. In the lower cluster are four Cortex-A53 cores operating at 1,4 GHz. If only this group works, the proci is in power save mode. If the computing demand requires it, the next cluster will be turned on, in which we will find four more Cortex-A53 cores, but their clock is already 2 GHz. And if the stud is released and all the forces have to be put in, then the top is the last cluster of two cores, in which two Cortex-A72 cores work, but their clock is already 2,5 GHz. In addition to the processor, the GPU, or video controller, has also become very combo. This is a Mali-T880. Multi-bag work is aided by 4GB of LPDDR3 memory, and 64GB of storage space is sure to be enough to store games for a while, but if you haven’t already, you can expand your storage with a memory card.
The Android 7.1 operating system installed on your phone gives you the power of the latest Android apps and features. Your phone also supports Bluetooth and OTG services. This allows you to use your smartphone with external hardware devices, such as a keyboard or game controller, gamepad. But what makes this phone really desirable is the stunning 6,0-inch, 2K resolution display. Our favorite games and movies provide a breathtaking view on this screen. In addition, the 2K resolution is already sufficient for use with VR glasses, at such a resolution the pixel grid of the display is almost invisible in the glasses.
For exceptionally powerful hardware and an impressive 2K display, the Elephant S8 is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. By using this axi, we can achieve up to 10 hours of continuous operation. Of course, it also depends on what app you’re running, but the point is, you can keep playing with it for hours, even if you feel like it. Should your mobile still run out, Quick-Charge support will come in handy, allowing you to quickly recharge your battery.
So the Elephone S8 is an excellent gaming platform, but of course it also has some positives that we can use in everyday life. Just think of the 21 megapixel camera or dual SIM card support.
I don’t think we could find any other phone with similar capabilities on offer in stores, but at this price, this hardware and my amazing external opinion do it all! The price of the phone is currently a few hundred forints above 64, which is not a small amount of money, but it is still a fraction of what we have to pay for the phone of a market-leading manufacturer.
