Another Phoenix SSD is coming

In its new product, G.Skill combines 2x nm chips and a SandForce controller.

G.Skill yanked the cover off a new SSD yesterday called Phoenix EVO. The novelty is equipped with NAND Flash chips made at 2x nm (probably 25 nm) and the controller is a SandForce SF-1222. The write speed is 270 MB / s, the read speed is 280 MB / s, and the capacity is 115 GB. It is clear that the pace is slightly lower than the Phoenix Pro, but the manufacturer wants to compensate for this with a lower price tag (the 120GB Phoenix Pro is now available for € 205).

The G.Skill Phoenix EVO will be on store shelves in a short time with a three-year warranty. A specific price was not mentioned by the manufacturer, but will most likely be below € 200.
