Zalman in the SSD market

The reputed manufacturer is also entering the ever expanding SSD market.

Zalman also enters the SSD line after they have set foot in other areas after the refrigerators. At launch, it will immediately launch two product families, namely the S and N series. For the time being, the former will consist of three models that will use a JMicron controller one by one. The 32, 64, and 128 GB mass storage speeds will read at 260 MB / s, while the write speed will be 60 MB / s, 120 MB / s, and 210 MB / s. However, the said N series is not built around JMicron, but around a SandForce controller. Here, only two models will compete for the favors of customers, a 64 and a 128 GB version. Both have a read speed of 280 MB / s and a write speed of 270 MB / s.

The S Series models are priced at US $ 100, US $ 150 and US $ 250 respectively. However, the official start date is still unclear.
