Improved file format compatibility and teamwork support in the new enterprise LibreOffice package

The NetIQ Novell SUSE Representative in Hungary announced that LibreOffice 4.0 for Windows, a version of the popular open source office suite optimized for enterprise use, has become available in SUSE's portfolio. With innovations in a suite of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and formula editing applications, as well as a drawing program, organizations can further increase productivity while reducing or keeping low costs for office software.

In addition to the software package, SUSE offers a high level of enterprise support, which includes the release of fix packs, the repair of custom bugs, and the customization of source code. LibreOffice 4.0 for Windows also includes bug fixes that will only be available in later versions in the community release of LibreOffice.
