Version 2000 of the foobar1.1.7 audio player software has been released.

Foobar2000 is a free (but not free source) audio player for Windows operating systems. It was developed by a former Winamp programmer, Peter Pawlowski. Its surface can be changed with the help of skins, it is suitable for CD grabbing, conversions, labeling in addition to playback, but it also performs well in terms of conversion work. The new release has improved bitrate reporting accuracy for various audio formats, the ReplayGain scanner has been updated to the latest libebur128 and it has been possible to insert and remove images from media (MP3, MP4, FLAC, WMA, WavPack, Musepack, Vorbis, APE) files.
