Estelon speakers from a surprising location, at a surprising price

Estelon speakers from a surprising location, at a surprising price

Who would have thought that premium speakers are being manufactured in Estonia. We would be among the last Baltic countries to bet on Estonians, even though we can buy a German car for the price of their special speaker.

Estelon was founded in 2006, and since then the Model XA has been designed with everything in mind, with one emphasis on avoiding resonance, but the acoustics of the various rooms have also been studied and the device has taken its final form accordingly.

The design is likely to share people’s opinions, we don’t think there can be a complaint about it, but at least we’re sure we won’t stumble upon it around every corner. The 11-inch subwoofer is at the bottom, the 7-inch center speaker at the top, and the 1,7-inch tweeter just below. The membranes were made of ceramics by a special process, but the most expensive (Diamond) model already used diamond for this purpose. Although we cannot comment on the quality of these, judging by the prices, we hope for a unique, top-to-top-class speech.

Model XA has a frequency range of 25 HZ to 28 kHz and will cost $43 for a pair, but will charge an additional $900 for the premium cover. The Model XA Diamond represents the peak in both price and quality, the lower frequency limit is the same as the plain model, but it plays sounds up to 2 kHz, which is a serious improvement, although we have to pay for it, it costs 000 dollars for a pair. If we can't or aren't willing to pay that much, there are "cheaper" solutions, the 45-way Model XB costs $64, while the 000-way rack-mounted Model XC costs $3, according to Estelon. The latter two also have ceramic membranes and do not leave the other positives of the more expensive models, but they "only" play sounds from 31-000 HZ, and the maximum is 2 kHz. These speakers will probably end up in the households of few of our readers, if we look at it realistically, most of us will buy a car or an apartment with this money, but it's good to see that. Those who are still interested will unfortunately have to wait until the October release.
