The AMD 760G chipset has started its journey

The newcomer is best recommended for an office or low-end slot machine.

AMD has unveiled its latest chipset, the 760G, which is virtually equivalent to a silly 780G. The HD 3000 IGP comes from one-on-one with its big brother (350 MHz core clock), as well as support for Hyper-Transport 3.0 and PCI Express 2.0. Of course, the novelty that handles the AM2 (+) socket also fully supports Hybrid CrossFire (X) technology, which means that with the help of an external VGA we can add our head to even more serious gaming.

I'm glad, however, that we have to give up hardware HD acceleration, just as we're looking for an HDMI and DisplayPort connector in vain. It is expected that the largest manufacturers (ASUS, ECS, GIGABYTE, Asrock, MSI, Foxconn and Biostar) will soon build their own solution built around the 760G.
