Watch the juicer in action in my video test:

Introductory

Rarely, but I get devices just for testing, such as the BlitzHome juicer. I'm not saying I didn't like it, I just didn't feel the desire to own one.

Then it arrived, I tried it, tested it, and now I'm sitting here in front of the machine, checking the article, and thinking about whether one of these would fit in our kitchen.

Of course, there are already plenty of machines, there are milkshakes, for example, but neither a press nor a juicer, even though we live in the countryside, and there is usually a lot of fruit. So I don't really understand why I didn't think about the fact that peaches can be made not only into brandy, but also into peach juice, which my guys would surely enjoy drinking, unlike brandy.

Packaging, accessories and exterior

This article won't be long, since it's a fairly simple machine, but we'll run through the mandatory chapters as it suits.

The packaging, as we are used to with BlitzWolf (BlitzHome) products, is green and white. The box is not very big, nor is the machine inside. The receiving size is 28 x 11,5 x 33,5 cm, and its weight is 3,9 kilograms. So it's really not big.

The box has decent impact protection, but there are essentially no accessories. In other words, there are those that are needed for the operation of the machine, i.e. the press part itself, a small tray for the fruits and a tumbling plastic, which can be used to force the fruits down.

What is also worth mentioning are the two glasses, one for the liquor and the other for the dry matter (really dry). The capacity of the former is 450 milliliters, the latter 550 milliliters, that is, one is a little less, the other a little more than half a liter.

What was terribly gratifying for me was that the instruction manual is also in Hungarian, that is, one of the chapters of the attached booklet is in Hungarian. I'm not used to this from Chinese machines!

The juicer itself looks like a meat grinder, with the difference that you don't get multiple ends, that you can grind the material for sausages and loops into different sizes, and that the accessories are not made of metal, but of strong plastic.

I would like to add here that the materials used are very good, meaning that this also applies to the base machine itself and the accessories. The plastics are thick, and in the case of the accessories, they have been reinforced where necessary, so I think it will be an art to break it.

The controls are on the side of the machine in the form of buttons. The surface is not touch-sensitive, but there are mechanical switches under the buttons.

Paper form, operation

The structure itself is 1500 watts, which means it is quite powerful. I have to mention it, but more on that later.

Operation is simple. We put the fruit in the upper tube, which is then placed on the rotating spiral-shaped plastic with the help of the truncheon. This plastic then starts to press the material forward, squeezes the liquid out of it, and forms the remainder into a small worm shape from the front and spits it out.

The liquid (fruit juice) flows into the smaller container, the dry pulp into the others and we are done.

Experiences can come!

Experiences

The test will be a test if I test the press well, which I did. I used apples, grapes, oranges and carrots for this.

Assembly is easy, especially since the press part comes assembled. Of course, it is recommended to wash everything before using it for the first time. So you snap the pressing piece into place, it doesn't fall out, you have to press a plastic button to take it out. This unlocks it.

You can put the fruit in now!

Among the buttons you will find three that start the machine. Two of them, labeled soft and hard, do the pressing, and rev rotates the spiral backwards. The latter is useful when you are stuck with something, and I also turned it on before switching it off and cleaning. The rew stops automatically after a few seconds, pressing only if you press the stop button.

As I wrote, I tried it with four types of fruit (one was a vegetable). The pressing itself took place in the same way in all cases, the end result was very different.

I pressed the apple and the carrot together, and since they have relatively little juice, the final result looked different. Instead of juice, I received a fruit pulp, approx. such as those intended for children, also available in small fruit pulp bags available in stores.

I note that you can also get refills of these in Chinese stores, so if you buy such a press, you can easily make travel toys for your little one at home.

So this pulp is drinkable after all, but not like a juice. I quickly deduced from this that if I put harder fruits and vegetables in the machine, I will be able to prepare ingredients for other meals. For example, the carrots and apples I grated went into muffins. It turned out delicious!

The situation is completely different with soupy fruits. For this test, I bought discounted grapes and oranges, because I thought that fruit that was no longer perfect on the outside would also be suitable, and besides, the whole thing only makes sense if the stuff is not more expensive than a box of store-bought juice with XNUMX% pulp.

Of course, the grapes and oranges have already become a regular, drinkable juice, and it's not enough. One of the characteristics of rural life is that sometimes you get lost in a harvest or grape pressing, so I was able to compare the remaining material from the traditional grape press and the BlitzHome. The difference is heaven and earth, because the machine left almost completely dry material after separating the juice. A traditional manual grape press cannot do this!

It was the same with the orange. The juice dribbled out, and the nearly dry fruit flesh maggots dribbled out at the front of the machine. Two normal oranges yielded a little more than 3 deciliters of freshly squeezed fruit juice. Since it was a bargain orange, this, as I calculated, was even better than a liter of Hohes C orange juice. In addition, I made this fresh, which made it a "little bit" better than the boxed one.

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 12

I got about 6 deciliters of grape juice from the kilo of grapes, which cost a little more than if I had bought grape juice, but the experience was completely different. What came out of the machine was not something filtered, but a must enriched with fruit pulp (of course, it's not boiling yet), so I was basically satisfied with that as well.

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 13

What I really liked was that the machine can be disassembled in a flash. During disassembly, the juice doesn't drip everywhere, the pieces of pulp don't fall, so I don't get the kitchen dirty. I then washed the accessories in hot water without detergent in about two minutes and put them in the dryer.

In other words, the point is that not only the pressing, but also the cleaning afterwards is very easy.

At the end of the test, there was nothing left but to consume the products. In no time, my lungs sipped the fruit juices, and my partner baked the apple-carrot muffin. I think it turned out to be a perfect day!

Summary

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 16

It became clear some time ago that Chinese department stores are finding it increasingly difficult to sell phones here. It is difficult to compete with VAT companies. For this reason, for some time now I have been surprised with other gadgets, often with kitchen machines. I'm happy about it, one of my favorite areas is the kitchen, I like making these tests.

The current article was more difficult for me, because although I knew that a juicer could be useful, I had no motivation to try it. After that, of course, during the test, it already happened, and I also saw the meaning in the machine.

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 17

We get a completely different end result in the case of soupier fruits than in the case of a smoothie or a juicer. The end result is somewhere in between.

Everything goes into the milkshake, so the final result will be quite thick. The centrifuge grinds and precipitates the juice of the fruit, resulting in a filtered juice. Cold-pressed fruit juice is between the two, that is, we get a juice pleasantly enriched with fruit pulp.

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 18

If you want to make apple juice, then this machine will not be good for you, simply because the juice remains too "meaty". In other words, you will not get an easy-to-drink, filtered fruit juice, but a thicker fruit pulp. I tried it, it can be diluted, but your juice will not be 100 percent.

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 19

Of course, if you have an orchard at home and you have enough apples to mash in autumn, then it is worth thinking about it, because you can freeze it as a concentrate, and then how nice it will be to thaw it in the middle of winter or spring, and either make a delicious cookie or sip it.

The orange juice was very good, but for my part, I enjoyed the grapes the most, because you can really only taste them during the harvest, when they are pressed, you can't get anything similar in a box or in a store.

Tested BlitzHome BH-JC01 juicer 20

So the bottom line is that this is a good little machine, a useful little machine. It fits in a small space, it's easy to use, it's even easier to clean, I think I'll squeeze a corner for it somewhere!
