We checked out a good-looking portable speaker!
We didn’t throw a back at him, but we expected much worse based on the price!
Believe it or not, spring is approaching, even if it looks incredible out the window. Garden parties are coming in the spring and later the beach season, so it’s time to look around the Bluetooth speaker market. We were looking for a tool that would look good at least on paper, but because of its price, we wouldn’t cut a vein on ourselves even if we accidentally forget it on the beach. The speaker point in the article is like that, and overall it made a much better impression on us than what we looked out of it.

Out of the not-so-trusting box came a quirky-looking speaker that visibly resembles a lens. The pictures also show quite well that our composition has taken on quite practical dimensions: it is 60 × 60 × 50 mm, it weighs barely 230 grams. The 45 mm speaker and 520 mAh battery were pressed into this size. In my opinion, the specifications did not deviate too much from reality:
- Bluetooth 2.1, 10 meter range (according to our measurements 6-7 meters)
- Power: 3 watts
- Frequency response: 60 Hz-18 Khz
- Sensitivity: 96 dB
- Charging time: 2 clock
- Operating time: 5 hours
Finding contradictory information about frequency would not, of course, put our hands on fire for other data either. For example, the charge developed interestingly, and a red light came on when the device was connected to the computer. Here, we assumed that within two hours, it would turn green, indicating that the battery was full. Well, that didn't happen, the light didn't change after 4 hours. Now let’s look at what has already done its job as expected.

The fun can begin
When turned on, the speaker immediately enters Bluetooth mode, which is demonstrated by an aggressively flashing blue LED. The "M" button at the bottom is the function switcher, you can count on the following options: Bluetooth, AUX, FM radio. The latter could not be brought to life, but there was no problem with the others. Wireless mode is the default, devices can find each other in a matter of seconds. The gadget can also be used as an external speaker, the included cable simply needs to be connected to the music player, phone, tablet. Unfortunately, the string was taken quite sparingly, with a length of barely 40 cm. I suspect that the 5-hour operating time can be approached this way, omitting Bluetooth for the device that serves as the audio source can also be beneficial in terms of operating time.

If you really don’t want to complicate things, we need to put a memory card packed with music in the TF slot so we won’t need anything else. For the microSD card, the sensor section should be on top, so it should be fully inserted until the machine beeps to indicate that the connection was successful. Outwardly, the thing is quite cumbersome, after a fresh nail cut I have no idea how to pull it out of the socket.

Now let's look at the sound quality. I don’t want to chase anyone into illusions, it won’t be the main prop of a house party. Let’s be aware of the basics, quality sound technology doesn’t start here. Okay, this has been commonplace so far, but I don’t think it’s worth fogging that you’re going to save a fortune now, the goal is to be fair again.
Let's get to the point; with the DG530, we have to decide whether we want high volume or (relatively) enjoyable quality. For the latter, we have to stop at roughly half of the entire range, with the former meaning the end of the slider. Anyway, that doesn't mean hellishly poor sound quality either - at least I expected it to be worse with such a price tag - in any case, it's undeniable that the high tones get some side noise, which in turn "slips" the whole range. The first two minutes of Coldplay - Hymn For The Weekend have noticeably exceeded the capabilities of the device, but again, I emphasize that after the volume is restrained, the situation improves a lot.
The high range is, in truth, a “deficiency article” all the way through, a “super bass” as if it manifests itself in a shift in tone. For some styles, this may even be appropriate, such as DMX’s work coming out surprisingly tolerably, but Demi Lovato might even produce a more powerful self after a tired night than the subject of our present article.

The tiny size of the house causes some boxed sound, here too it helps not to force it over. By the way, the operating time strongly depends on the connection and the volume, 3 hours can be extracted from it without any special difficulties. The aksi paper has a fairly correct capacity, obviously keeping the price in mind.
Of course, he wasn't bothered when we wrapped him up.
Summary
The picture is pretty clear. This speaker can be a great souvenir, especially if your acquaintance is obsessed with photography; easy to carry, practical in size and inexpensive. The outer housing is surprisingly massive, but also very showy. Hold on, but it only gives the impression of a quality piece in terms of appearance, which is reinforced in its own way by the circumferential dial (used to adjust the volume).
It is capable of a crazy volume when wrapped up, by the way, it is better for people with hollowed ears to leave it for a short time. Let’s face it, at such a price, we can’t expect the gadget to fit perfectly in every way - we can’t even imagine how hard it is to get so much out of such a modest amount. So from this point of view, we can be satisfied, the DG530 jumps to the elementary requirements, even if it no longer had the power for extras.

If I wanted to briefly describe this miracle, I would say it is worth so much, so good. Somewhat like the case of the Hungarian orange; a little yellow, a little sour, but ours can be for pennies.
