Mobile phone purchases in the U.S. grew by 91 percent last year, with similar proportions of mobile phone purchases expected on allegroup’s domestic platforms.

“The volume of purchases from various mobile devices exceeded one and a half percent of the total throughput by the end of our fiscal year last year. This ratio could reach as high as 4 percent this year, and in 2 years the goal is to reach 10 percent mobile throughput. ” - said Erik Csupor, the managing director of allegroup.hu Kft., Adding that Grando.hu also joined the line of e-commerce mobile applications in September.
On the platforms of allegroup.hu Kft., M-commerce turnover has increased fivefold this year, compared to the same period last year (July-September). The number of products sold through these channels has reached hundreds of thousands since the end of 2010. The shopping trends are already visible here: we prefer to buy clothes, technical articles, computer products, sports goods over the phone. On the pages of allegroup.hu Kft. This summer alone, more than 20 products were found in this form. According to internal surveys, iPhones tend to put more expensive products in the virtual cart, while androids use the new way of e-shopping more than once.
During the summer, the camera and camera were a huge hit on mobile platforms, with many clicking on their mobile devices for more expensive watches as well. In addition to “classic” online products, there was a striking demand for specialty items; In recent months, a Land Rover SUV has sold for 750, a Rolex watch for one and a half million forints, or a holiday home in Hajdúszoboszló for 4 million, through Vatera's mobile application.
In mid-September, another e-commerce player, Grando.hu, joined the line of mobile-optimized sites and mobile applications. In Hungary's newest online shopping center, net-mobile users can choose from one million products along 21 categories. “The dynamic trend can already be seen here: in less than two weeks, we measured three million forints in traffic via mobile. It is an interesting fact that the average purchase value exceeded 16 thousand forints, which is one and a half times the value measured on Grando.hu, ”added Balázs Orova, allegroup.hu Kft., Which also operates Grando.hu. director.
