TabletKiosk tablet in three editions

TabletKiosk has introduced its latest tablet with three levels of equipment.

All members of the new Sahara Slate PC i400 series have been given a 12,1-inch XGA-resolution touchscreen display and, depending on the requirements of the age, can be ordered with Windows XP Professional and openSUSE Linux as well as Windows Vista.

The "soul" of the entry-level i412T is a 1,06 GHz Celeron M 423 processor, as well as 512 MB of DDR2 memory and a SATA hard disk with a capacity of 60 GB. The next step is the i440T and i440D: their 1,83 GHz Core Duo L2500 processor, 1 GB of system memory and an 80 GB HDD form the basis of the tablets.

The i440D differs from the i440T in that in this case, in addition to the touch screen mode, we also have the option to switch to the so-called active digitization mode. More specifically, it allows you to control the device with the help of the multi-button pen included with the tablet, which includes a radio transmitter, without having to touch the screen, it is extremely accurate from a few centimeters away, so there is no need for a physical connection.

All models have two memory slots, so expandability can be up to 4 GB. Common features include a fingerprint sensor, Intel-based 802.11a / b / g W-Fi controller, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR adapter, two USB 2.0 ports, a PCMCIA socket, and FireWire and eSATA output .
