Has KD deleted K10-based dual cores?

There is no official confirmation yet, but it seems more and more certain what has been suspected for days that the K10 is based on micro-architecture, dual-core AMD Kuma processors.

The cancellation of the Kuma project is unexpected, but it is the result of a logical decision, as AMD would have crossed itself with the launch of dual-core K10 CPUs. The 65nm manufacturing technology did not allow the desired clock values to be achieved, moreover, it would not have had a market with the three-core Toliman, the quad-core Agena and the currently running Athlon 64 X2 processors.

AM10 has canceled KXNUMX-based dual cores

Instead, AMD will focus on quad-core Deneb and Propus, tri-core Heka and dual-core Regor processors, with the goal of moving to 45nm manufacturing technology as soon as possible.
