Super-energy efficient AMD APUs may come

The AMD A10-6700T and A8-6500T APU have appeared on a mysterious motherboard processor support list. The T signal has not been used by AMD so far, but it is easy to imagine that models in the 45-watt power class will receive this signal in the future. Regarding the technical characteristics of the above two types, we managed to find out that both models will be quad-core, with the A10-6700T operating at 2,5 GHz and the A8-6500T presumably operating at 2,1 GHz. Even the former model can get the Radeon HD 8660D IGP (384 Radeon cores), while the latter must be available with the Radeon HD 8550D (256 stream processor). Both graphics accelerators can spin at 720 MHz - a pretty nice value in terms of power consumption.

All in all, it can be seen that APUs have suffered from energy hunger, but they cannot be called bloodthirsty weak models either, and if we want higher performance, we can already find a suitable candidate in the 65-watt class.
