The list of Intel mobile and desktop processors will soon be expanded with new products.
The Centrino platform will receive no less than 7 new processors on September 2nd. Starting with the cheapest Celeron, the strongest Core 2 Duo procik also get new companions. Notebooks also feature the first Extreme release versions, capable of operating at 2,6 and 2,8 GHz.
As for the desktop procik, the prices of Intel's low-end dual-core units will change the most during the summer. The E4xxx series will be expanded with two new members, the E4600 and E4500 clocks will peak at 2,4 and 2,2 GHz. The new Pentium series, which has a chance to get the best reception, will also get a new member in the person of a 2 GHz version.
