"T-Mobile H" disappears from phones!

Telekom HU can be read on the display of the devices instead of T-Mobile H, the changeover is gradual. In line with the unification of the brand structure that took place during 2013, Magyar Telekom started to change the network name (T-Mobile H) currently displayed on mobile phone displays to the new Telekom HU name. For the first time, the new Telekom HU sign appeared on the display of foreign devices roaming in Hungary on Telekom's mobile network, but some of the service provider's customers using smartphones have already been able to meet the new network name starting last weekend. The network will change the network name in several stages until the end of the year, so there will be customers who will see the new network name on their mobile device display in the coming weeks, and there will be customers who only have it in the last months of the year.

The name change and its appearance can be influenced by several factors, some of which are closely related to the characteristics of the devices used by customers (type, age, operating system). Due to the variety of devices, some devices or older SIM cards may not be able to handle the change properly, in which case the network name will not change, but of course this does not affect the use of the device and the service in any way. However, if the customer so requests, the name change can be handled individually in this case as well (for example, by changing the SIM card).
