Leaks related to HD 7770

The Cape Verde GPU with 28 nm bandwidth and the Radeon HD 7770 have achieved important milestones as they are the first graphics controller to offer a 1 GHz operating frequency at the factory. The card connects to effective 128 MHz memories via a 4600-bit memory controller. It is suspected that the mid-range rookie will have 16 ROP units, but there are still questions about stream processors and texturizers.
The VR-Zone site already has valuable information on the performance of the Radeon HD 7770. The card scored P3 during the 11D Mark 3535 Performance test series, bringing it almost a hair's breadth alongside the GeForce GTX 460.
The XFX HD 7770 Black Edition could debut at tomorrow's launch, but the manufacturer "pulled the veil" ahead of time. The card's cooling system is equipped with two fans, which has a beneficial effect on noise emission and temperature. With CrossFireX support, the controller offers DVI, dual mini DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. It is powered by a 6-pin power connector.
