The Sony MEX-BT5000 car stereo headset can communicate with any Bluetooth-enabled mobile device, eliminating the need for a variety of hands-free handsets.

With the BT5000 car tuner, you can make your phone calls easily and hands-free, thanks to its wireless technology, it is immediately connected to a suitable mobile phone, so you can make phone calls with the device after boarding. It is just as easy to access the data stored on your phone, all important data can be transferred to the car stereo. Six programmable speed dial buttons make dialing and talking easier.

Weighing in at three kilograms and measuring 157 × 50 × 178 mm, the device is equipped with a noise and echo cancellation signal processor, so telephone conversations always remain clear and understandable, which can be done via the built-in microphone on the front of the receiver. Its display shows the details of stations, artists, recordings, caller ID and phonebook, while the main functions can be controlled with an infrared remote control.
