SanDisk has already announced a prototype in the fall of 2016, but it has not yet been commercialized. Lexar claims that they, in turn, have already reached this level!

Will there really be a 1TB SD card now ?!

Lexar announced at CES that their Professional 1x SDXC UHS-I SD card, which offers 633 TB of storage, is now available overseas for $ 499. According to the official press release, the UHS-I card is capable of reading at 95 MB / s, and even the writing speed can ideally kick in at 70 MB per second, so it's not even slow. By the way, according to the manufacturer, this really bulky capacity will be enough to store a large number of 4K shots, high-resolution photos, while also noting that only 15 thousand years ago they were only a thousandth of this size (1 GB).

Although the device with a limited lifetime warranty is already available on paper, German ComputerBase notes that not a single store has been found where the gadget can actually be purchased, but there are some where it can at least be pre-ordered for $ 399 (B&H).
