Skyfire 2.0: now with Flash support

The final version of the alternative browser for smartphones has been completed.

A development team called Skyfire has released a new version of its browser, designed for Android-based smartphones, but also running on other mobile operating systems. Now you can browse pages with Flash content on these devices without any problems. Adobe has still not received support for Android with regard to Flash.

Skyfire 2.0 now with Flash support

This alternative browser works by rendering web pages on a server and then streaming them to your device, much like Opera Mobile. Some devices are already available with Skyfire 2.0 pre-installed. Anyone who doesn’t have it yet and wants to try it is a from the official site you can download the installation package.

The free browser for smartphones is also available for Windows Mobile and Nokia in addition to Android.
