Seagate Savvio 10K.4

Seagate has begun shipping its latest 2,5 ”hard drive, dubbed Savvio 10K.4.

The manufacturer’s latest gem will be available in 450 and 600 GB capacities, which spins 10 per minute, has 000 MB of cache and is guaranteed to run for 16 million hours.

With our new 2,5 ”10 RPM 000GB hard drive, we can provide twice as much storage space in the same space as a 600” 3,5GB drive, while providing much better power management and system performance. Savvio 10K.4's SED (self-encrypting drive) and PI (protected information) options allow for proper data protection and integration. The hard drive will be available with a 5-year warranty, we do not have information about prices yet.
