Does the six-core AMD processor get Turbo Boost technology?

It seems so, but we can be almost certain that this will not be the name of the technology.

It can’t even be, as Intel has slapped that name. However, this is not important, more importantly, according to today's news, the new CPU, codenamed Thuban, which will appear at the height of April and May, will include a solution similar to Intel's TurboBoost technology. This will be able to recognize the need for a single or multi-threaded operation and will be able to adjust the core clock signal accordingly, of course separately. In addition, the clock will change dynamically according to how much power is needed to run the programs. Of course, this also means dynamically changing clock signals per core. The upper limit of the clocks will be determined by the general thermal design power (early, I can't make a meaningful Hungarian translation 🙂).

AMD: The 6-core Thuban processor will arrive in May

As you can see, AMD hasn’t invented anything new, but let’s not ride on it too much now. The point is, they’ve come up with a meaningful idea so we can expect a better and better processor in late spring. We hope that this time you will have no problem with the price or performance of the CPU that is expected to be called the Phenom II X6!
