Samsung news at the IFA starting tomorrow
Samsung Electronics will be showcasing its new digital technology products at this year’s IFA.
The new product line aims to enrich our home and mobile worlds with new experiences. The “new home world” products include a 178cm LED LCD TV, a Duo player (HD DVD and Blu-ray), the first Blu-ray Disc home theater system and the world’s smallest color laser printer. Highlights of the “new mobile world” include the 3 ”mp4 player and compact HD cameras.
According to Dr. Jong Woo Park, President of Samsung’s Digital Media Business, “Our innovative products consolidate Samsung’s leadership in technology and design in the consumer electronics industry. Samsung still wants to come up with innovative products that not only provide consumers with a new lifestyle but also the best possible technology.
IFA 2007 focus products:
Az F9 LCD TV series (52 ″, 70 ″) LED SmartLighting ™, with technology. The advantage of this technology is that the backlight is reduced or completely eliminated on dark surfaces, so that the devices provide more vivid colors and exceptionally sharp images.
The new F8 Full HD LCD TV made with 100Hz MotionPLUS technology, which eliminates blur caused by fast movies. The new product features an elegant, shiny black bezel adorned with the soft, discreet lines of Samsung’s crystal-clear glass edging, cool blue lights and distinctive, sophisticated side switches.

A BD-UP5000 duo Blu-ray player, Samsung's first high-definition (HD) optical player to support both Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats, as well as their interactive technologies, BD-Java and HDi. Consumers can now enjoy additional studio content — presentations, director’s additions, more detailed menus, and off-set scenes in any format.
A HT-BD2, Blu-ray Home Cinema offers full compatibility with 24 frames per second playback and 1100 watts of total output power to satisfy cinema and hi-fi fans with an elegant and sophisticated component system.

A VP-HMX10C HD Camera delivers flawless HD images. In addition to excellent image quality, the user experience is enhanced by the 2.7 ″ high-resolution touch LCD screen and the easy-to-use menu system.
A YP-P2 mp4 player with just 9,9mm thin, 3 ”full touch screen interface, Bluetooth 2.0 support opens new dimensions in the field of mini players.
A SyncMaster 220TN monitor uses simple, embedded networking modules to allow users to connect to the Internet and video chat without a PC, connected via a LAN cable.
