CeBIT is followed by ATI X1800 GTO cards

The new cards will certainly arrive a week or two after CeBIT, with goods going to be around $ 249 ($ 53).

The company’s product range will include the X1800 series, which will receive the GTO label, which refers to reduced performance. The newcomer will differ from the X1800 XL in that the number of pipelines will be reduced from sixteen to twelve. The core range of the Radeon X1800 GTO will be 500 MHz, while that of the memories will be 1000 MHz. Fortunately, the card's cooling won't be so bulky that it will take up additional slots in addition to its own. The X1800 GTO is definitely the company’s opponent of the soon-to-be-introduced GeForce 7600 GT. ATI is confident that their new card will beat the competitor’s product, as a product with a 256-bit memory interface will face a 128-bit. At the time, with the advent of the Radeon X1600 XT and 6800 GS, the same was the case, only then did NVIDIA march into the “said better” technique. It’s probably time for a rematch now. We are curious to see what comes out of it.
The $ 1800 (approx. $ 249) price of the X53 GTO may be the only major drawback to the GeForce 000 GT, as the latter will only cost $ 7600 (approximately $ 199).
