The Phenom II X6 1045T arrives

AMD is further expanding its range of six-core processors.

In the upper house, the 3.2GHz Phenom II X6 1090T will remain the fastest, at least until the first Bulldozer-based product hits the market.

The series is now expanding from below with the introduction of the Phenom II X6 1045T. The baseline of the novelty will be 2.7 GHz, which can be increased to 3 GHz by activating the Turbo mode - for <= 3.2 cores. As a reminder, the Turbo Core procedure guarantees automatic overdrive if the load on the processor cores allows it.
The 1045T is, of course, Thuban-based, a chip blessed with 6 × 512 Kbyte L2, 6 Mbyte L3 cache and DDR2 / DDR3 support. CPU consumption was specified by the manufacturer at 95 watts.

Distribution will start this quarter, but no information has been received about pricing yet.
