RIP: Athlon 64 3000+ and 3200+

According to DailyTech information, AMD will stop production of the slowest Socket 939 encapsulated single-core Athlon 64 processors.

Athlon 3000 CPUs labeled 1800+ (3200 MHz) and 2000+ (64 MHz) will not be available from the manufacturer as of the end of June, as AMD has already notified its partners.

Those who may have planned to buy one of these processors in the near future do not have to worry, the stocks will be able to serve the needs of the customers for some time to come. In the computer shops of Hungary, the 64+ and 3000+ versions of the Athlon 3200 can be purchased for around 20-25 thousand forints.
