Samsung has launched a mobile phone with a QWERTY keyboard
The B7330 OmniaPRO can fight the Nokia E72.
If you look at the phone and its design looks familiar, it's no coincidence: the B7330 looks pretty much the same as most phones with a full QWERTY keyboard in this category. In light of this, the raison d'être of an "n+1" product is highly questionable, especially since Samsung cannot present any functions related to the device that are not already included in a competing device. Apart from that, the B7330 is not a bad attempt: the display is provided by a 2,63-inch panel with QVGA resolution, and a 3,2-megapixel camera is responsible for capturing important moments. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radio can also be used for data transfer, but support for HSDPA networks has not been left out of the repertoire either. The equipment also includes a microSD card slot, which this time is located on the side of the device; the advantage of this solution is that it is not necessary to remove the 1500 mAh battery to insert the card, which is not a minor factor at all from a convenience point of view.
A mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6.5 is expected to hit store shelves in October, but no officially confirmed information on the device's purchase price has been released so far.
