Philips BDM4037UW - The giant that doesn't just care about size

We're on the last page again. Slowly ending the article, I have to slowly repack the monitor. There are times when the tester can’t wait to return the hardware they received as part of the article. Of course, this is rarely described. Then there are cases where we want to get at least another 1-2 weeks to use it. Not because of the test, just so we can use it. Well, you may have already figured out that this is how I am now with the Philips BDM4037UW monitor. In the coming weeks, a website of one of our clients will have to be completed, and looking for this job, they would not find a better solution. I need to use Photoshop, I need a minimum of 1, but often two browser windows to configure CSS, I need to open 2-3 libraries at a time for convenient work so I can work on the WAMP server. I can open everything on this monitor, the windows fit side by side. I can only use the mouse to jump from one application to another while, for example, taking a swatch from one image and then trying it out in the browser window and, if it works, pasting it into CSS. This monitor makes this type of work incredibly easy and incredibly efficient.

In each summary, it is appropriate to describe to whom we recommend the given product. Well, I don't recommend the Philips BDM4037UW for gaming. The diagonal is too large, it is difficult to catch the whole thing with our eyes at once. In addition, the 4 ms response time is not conducive to fast movements either.

As you may have read for work, at least for jobs that require you to run many applications at the same time. Of course, you can also edit text on it, but let's face it, it's unnecessarily big for that.

But what is perfect and impeccable is multimedia. If you have an indoor unit, you can even use it instead of a TV, as it does not require a tuner. The image quality is perfect for this purpose. With UHD resolution, you can enjoy videos with incredible detail with such resolution.

Thanks to the advanced PIP features, we can work in an area with a resolution of 2-3 FHD, while on the fourth surface of this size we follow a match mediated by an external tuner with one eye. You can do the same without a PIP with a Youtube video or, of course, with any downloaded FHD content.

So the Philips BDM4037UW is a really versatile display. It’s also suitable for work and fun, and I used it for both with complete satisfaction. If you can spend almost 200 forints on a monitor, I suggest you look for a store where you can see the Philips solution live, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
