Big city as the engine of innovation

In the “Unbound Course - Roads to the Smart City” infographics competition, more than 60 students joined the common thinking and brought smart urban development ideas to the IBM Hungary and Climate-KIC tenders.

More than half of the world’s inhabitants live in cities and their number could double by 2050, urging new solutions and innovations. An occasional exhibition of infographics was also organized at the awards ceremony and experts discussed the challenges and solutions as well as the smart city objectives.

The main prize of the CityMug team KARMA - Share and move on! infographics. Their work presents an urban car-sharing system that would optimize vehicle utilization and thus the traffic situation by connecting pedestrians and drivers in real time with the help of an application. The CompleXity Team Who will take you home? his work received a special award.
