UPC is launching mobile Internet services

The leading domestic cable provider UPC Hungary has announced that the next step in its long-term strategy is to expand its offering with broadband mobile internet services.
mobile internet package With the introduction of upc mobile internet as an add-on to UPC's fixed services, cable subscribers can access the company's service away from home. Mobile Internet services are provided by UPC on Vodafone's mobile network. 
Betzalel Kenigsztein, CEO of UPC Hungary, explained: “Building on the success of the fixed-line services offered, we are further expanding our product range so that our subscribers can use our Internet service anywhere, anytime, even away from home. We are convinced that the combined fixed and mobile offers will play an increasingly important role in the future, thus further stimulating competition in the telecommunications market. The expansion of the service portfolio in the mobile direction is a very important element of serving our customers and our long-term role in the telecommunications market. In our traditional service areas, more than 4 million residential and business customers can now use our expanded, multi-element, complex service packages. ”
 
UPC mobile network
Upc mobile internet subscribers can use 1, 3 or 6 GB of data per month without restrictions with a maximum download speed of 7,2 Mbps. Depending on their needs, they can increase this bandwidth to three times, 21,1 megabits, at any time by choosing the unique speed boost option. For subscribers, UPC provides a SIM card and a USB modem for mobile internet at no extra charge. For business subscribers, UPC offers 4 and 8 GB packages with a maximum speed of 21,1 Mbps by default.
