Will Microsoft ignore users again?

Authentic foreign portals (The Inquirer, Wccftech, PC Perspective) have reported that the software giant has also sent the Windows 10 April Update to computers that have the delay feature activated.

It is not a new phenomenon that the current operating system update package produces unexpected phenomena, so less adventurous users often delay the installation. This method is especially popular for high-availability systems, but can also be useful in a home environment. Windows 10 offers a so-called “half-yearly channel” upgrade mode for this, where we only receive new enhancements when they are ready for widespread use in organizations. Again, this feature no longer works perfectly because several people reported that the system downloaded the update even though they set the deferral.

According to Microsoft, the above phenomenon can only occur if the postponement of the upgrade is not properly configured in Windows 10 - e.g. because the policies for this changed last summer, but the user did not follow the changes. Well, based on the feedback, this isn't necessarily true either, because (supposedly) the installation has started with fresh settings.

Windows 10 1803, by the way, spread surprisingly fast according to AdDuplex: according to statistics, it became the most popular version in less than a month. Based on previous experience, this usually only happens in 2-3 months.
