Second generation hybrid desktop player from LG

The successor to the LG BH100, which has unsatisfactory HD DVD support and is therefore much attacked, has been given the BH200 type designation.

The BH200 is unlike its predecessor model not only does it cope with playing HD videos stretching on Blu-ray and HD DVD discs, but it finally supports interactive content in both formats: accordingly, neither iHD nor BD-Java has been left out of the technologies known to the device.

Sales of the hybrid player will begin in mid-October and are expected to be priced around $ 1000.
