The PC version of Gears of War is coming later this year!

The good news was announced at a Microsoft conference held at this year’s E3 gaming show.

Let's start with the biggest announcement: Cliffy B himself, the lead designer of Epic Games, announced with great merit the approach of the PC version of Gears of War, one of the biggest drag games on the Xbox360. Time of publication: "holiday season", i.e. PCs can already push the game based on Unreal Engine 3.0 during Christmas.

And it's not over yet! Microsoft has presumably realized that it doesn't make much sense to just release certain MS-interested games for Vista, sooner or later some modification patch will be made for XP users. So the PC version of Gears of War will run on XP by default, you don't have to switch to Chili Vista to play the game. Juhééé!
