LG Sound Bar - Blu-ray player and wireless speakers
LG Electronics unveiled at the IFA a space-saving set of HLB54S Blu-ray Sound Bart, a slim speaker block and Blu-ray player with wireless technology. Although the device may look small on the outside, it has a remarkable 430 watts of power and 4.1 channel surround sound.
The HLB54S is not only a speaker, but also a Blu-ray player capable of playing Full HD 1080p movies. In this way, it is a great addition to a Full HD TV, especially in a bedroom, study or living room where there is not enough space for multiple speakers. The disc slot in the center of the unit makes it easier to access the discs. The HLB54S connects wirelessly to the Internet via Wi-Fi, and offers additional movie content as well as YouTube video playback via BD Live 2.0.
The HLB54S is compatible with most digital audio standards today, such as Dolby True HD, DTS-HD and even DTS HD Master Audio Essential. To keep the sound and picture quality optimal at all times, the HLB54S connects to other digital peripherals using the latest HDMI 1.3 standard. The wireless subwoofer is easy to set up: just plug it in and connect to your home cinema on your own. Thanks to LG SIMPLINK technology, viewers can control all the functions of compatible TVs and compact home cinema with a single remote control.
