Creative has announced a player that looks like a flash drive

The MuVo T100 starts in the featherweight category.

Creative wants to outperform the competition in a much cheaper category after its latest Zen player. When designing the MuVo T100, the main focus was on the simplest possible, but well-known, identifiable form, as the new player looks more like a flash drive at first glance. The circular control panel may already be familiar from the Stone series, the real innovation is the Bass button on the side wall, with which we can increase the power of the bass flowing into our ears at the touch of a button.

The T100's Plug-n-Play feature allows you to connect to your computer at any time, without the need for special software to rip music. The player comes with a rechargeable battery that can provide up to 10 hours of music listening for the T100 owner.

The T3, which handles MP100, WMA and WAV audio streams, will be available in 2 and 4 gig versions in major markets, priced at $ 89-149.
