LG Electronics: Beyond the 200 Millionth Television

A 42-inch plasma display completed on Thursday became the lucky choice.

LG Electronics in Korea has been manufacturing televisions since 1966. It reached the limit of the first hundred in 1999, which is an increase of almost two thousand times compared to the 1966 devices produced in 9050. With its current results, LG is the most order-fulfilling manufacturer in the world and also leads in shares with a profit of about 10,2 percent.

The company has a total of 15 TV factories in different parts of the world, including Mexico, China and Poland, but production will soon start in Russia as well. The two hundred millionth piece was made at a plant in Gyeongsan Province, China.
