We are all aware that most of the activities we do are all objects we use and even most animals emit carbon dioxide during their lifetime. On the other hand, few knew that a laptop produces a quarter as much carbon dioxide in an hour as a cell phone conversation in a minute. While sending an SMS produces only 0,014 grams of carbon dioxide, an email already produces 4 grams of carbon dioxide. Home cinema lovers are also worse off, as while a 15-inch flat-screen television emits just 34 grams of carbon dioxide per hour, its 42-inch sibling already produces 220 grams of carbon dioxide after an hour of cinema.
