Kodak V610: Tenx optical zoom for the first time in a compact machine

Despite its extremely small size, the camera with special Schneider-Kreuznach optics is capable of such a high degree of approximation.

Like its predecessor, the machine equipped with two lenses is extremely small, only 2,3 centimeters thick. The lower lens has a focal length of 38-114 (up to 3x zoom), and the upper lens has a 130-380 (up to 10x zoom). This machine covers the entire spectrum from 1x to 10x with a small margin. Optical zoom can also be used in video mode. Behind both "eyes" there is a 6 megapixel sensor.

Another innovative innovation is Bluetooth 2.0, which allows us to send our images to other devices, computers or even directly to the printer.

The rear of the new Kodak features a 2,8-inch, 262-color display. Finished works can be stored on the 28 megabytes of built-in memory as well as on an SD card. Image sensor chips can work with up to ISO 800 light sensitivity. You can choose from 26 shooting modes, one of which is completely configurable.

Exposure compensation, focus zone, light sensitivity, single-shot or continuous autofocus can all be adjusted. Electronics support digital image noise reduction as well as image stabilization, which is almost a basic requirement for this category of machines.

The V610 will be available in a few weeks, at a price of $ 449, or about $ 100.
