We tried it: on the A4Tech Padless 7200N, it doesn't need a pad either!

Padless, wireless, in fact, as we move forward slowly mouseless mice come. It certainly doesn’t depend on the engineers at A4Tech, as we were already familiar with HoleLESS mice in our previous article. Now something completely different is coming, a complete desktop, i.e. keyboard-mouse combo.

Once upon a time, even in the infrared era, I had a wireless desktop. Then I decided never to do it again, but it might be worth revisiting my statement at the time a bit. Of course, you’re right, then there was something wrong with either the keyboard or the mouse, but the wireless connection. I don’t remember what brand of gadget he had anymore, but I know it had an astronomical price and was as disappointing as few other arvtech gadgets. Of course, what could I expect from infrared if not this.

As the years passed the infra disappeared and came a development called radio. Oh, yes, you no longer needed a glimpse of the customer, at least not in principle. But it almost didn't matter, because if we got further than 3 meters, it became irrelevant whether we could see the receiver or not.

The situation was unsustainable, but not for long. Bluetooth devices and gadgets that communicate at 2,4 GHz have come, which have greatly extended the range. Luckily, we can move up to 15 meters away from the receiver, which is enough to control the HTPC from the other side of the living room, or use the desktop placed on the desk with a receiver hidden behind the machine. Sure, this is already an ideal situation, we can forget the cables. If not yet, our living room is longer than 15 meters, but if so, we have a Hipploly who turns on the TV for us, I mean the 3D projector.
